Once you master this classic bow, try some creative variations on your gifts. Tie your ribbon over a wider, contrasting band of ribbon or paper, run parallel ribbons side by side, or make a simple double knot and snip notches into the tails.


Pass ribbon over and under box and back up sides. Thread both ends under top ribbon.

Tie a left-over-right half-knot, then shape two even loops.

Cross right loop over left. Thread right loop behind left, under, and up through hole.






Pull loops into a smooth knot. Adjust loops; trim tails to be slightly longer than loops.
